The Ethics Commission is conducting a comprehensive review of the City’s campaign finance laws.  At its next meeting on August 9, 2012, the Commission will consider ordinance language to implement approved recommendations to improve the City’s campaign finance laws.  The proposal also includes several new recommendations regarding fundraising and contributions, the matching funds program, and disclosure and disclaimers.
