INVITATION TO Rep. Lieu's West LA VA Neighbors Community Roundtable - Monday Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.

Dear Community Leaders,

Congressman Ted Lieu is calling together the third annual West LA VA Neighbors Community Roundtable. 
 
This is your opportunity to get a briefing in an informal setting on the West LA VA Master Plan, its EIS/EIR, and the VA’s current efforts to address veteran homelessness, and be able to directly ask VA leadership your questions.
At this particular meeting you will be introduced to the newest member of their team, Megan Flanz, Esq., Executive Director for Master Plan.
 
DATE:  Monday, February 26, 2018
TIME:  7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)
LOCATION:  Belmont Village Senior Living Westwood, 10475 Wilshire Blvd., Westwood, CA 90024
PARKING:  Free parking in Belmont Village’s underground garage.  (Go into their driveway and as soon as you clear the building turn right into the underground garage)

SPECIAL GUESTS:  Ann Brown, Director of Greater Los Angeles Medical Center, Heidi Marston, Director of Community Engagement & Reintegration Services (Veteran Homeless Services), Megan Flanz, Executive Director for Master Plan
 
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING: There will be a presentation to update you on the status of the Master’s Plan and its EIR/EIS.

The Roundtable is made up of the Presidents or the Community/Neighborhood Councils and Chambers of Commerce of the communities on the Westside of Los Angeles who want to service the Veterans in their area.
It is also made up of the Presidents of the major HOAs and other major community organizations in Westwood, Brentwood and West Los Angeles.
 
A President may designate a member of the organization to sit at the table on his/her behalf.  If you cannot attend, we would greatly appreciate your sending a representative.
 
The actual meeting is open to the public and all constituents including any other member of your organization are welcome to submit questions and sit in the audience.   Please feel free to announce this meeting to your membership.
