NSFV Bus Rapid Transit Project Will Be Presented at Metro’s October Board Meeting

Thank you to everyone who participated in outreach activities in Summer 2019! Metro has received approximately 4,400 comments since June 2019. Your participation in this outreach reflects the high level of interest in the project. 
 
What happens next?
The North SFV BRT is scheduled for consideration at the Metro Board of Directors meeting on October 24, 2019. The Board of Directors meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Metro headquarters located at One Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles 90012 in the third floor Board room. All Board meetings are open to the public. Links to watch the Board meeting live in English and in Spanish can be found here: https://boardagendas.metro.net/ 
The North SFV BRT Project was previously presented to the Metro Board Planning and Programming Committee on June 19, 2019, so the Project will not be returning to Committee in October 2019. 
The Board meeting agenda, North SFV Project Board report and its attachments will be posted to the Board website no later than 72 hours prior to the start of the meeting. The attachments will include a summary of the outreach activities conducted in Summer 2019 and an assessment of the comments received from the public as of September 23, 2019.  
We will share a link to the Board report and its attachments via email to our stakeholders once it’s available. More information will also be available on the Project website at that time.

¡Gracias a todos ustedes quienes participaron en las actividades de divulgación que se realizaron este pasado verano 2019, para informar sobre este Proyecto! Como resultado, Metro recibió aproximadamente 4,400 comentarios desde junio 2019. Su participación en estos esfuerzos refleja el alto nivel de interés en este proyecto.
¿Cuáles son los detalles de la Reunión de la Junta Directiva? 
El Proyecto de Autobús de Transporte Rápido del Norte del Valle de San Fernando está programado para su consideración en la reunión de la Junta Directiva de Metro este próximo 24 de octubre de 2019. La reunión de la Junta Directiva se llevará a cabo a las 10:00 a.m. en la sede de Metro ubicada en: 1 Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles 90012, en la sala de juntas del tercer piso. Este Proyecto fue presentado previamente al Comité de Planificación y Programación de la Junta Directiva el pasado 19 de junio, 2019. Así pues, el Proyecto no regresará a este Comité en octubre 2019. 
La agenda de la reunión, el informe del Proyecto y sus anexos se publicarán en el sitio web a más tardar 72 horas antes del inicio de la reunión. Los anexos incluirán un resumen de las actividades de divulgación llevadas a cabo en el verano de 2019 y una evaluación de los comentarios recibidos del público hasta la fecha del 23 de septiembre de 2019.
