KRISTIE HOLMES, PhD, LCSW, specializes in topics related to global health, gender and media, as well as technology’s impact on relationships. She has spent a significant amount of time in the past 8 years working on projects related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Global Goals) and has a passion for helping other women find their voice. She has acted as moderator for an NGO at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, as well as participated as a panelist at the Women Leaders Forum as part of the United Nations General Assembly. Currently, she serves on the board of United Nations Women U.S. National Committee and is a Co-Chair of the United Nations Civil Society Press & Media Subcommittee. Holmes has deployed on the Mental Health Team with the American Red Cross during natural disasters. Locally, she is a clinician at Thrive Psychology and volunteers in the Public Schools position for her neighborhood council.
