Maureen Smith

Maureen has resided in Bel Air for many years. She is certainly proud to be back on the Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council as the BABCNC Commercial District representative.

Maureen has a California Real Estate Broker's License. She was a mediator for LA Superior Court and a facilitator for the Institute for Non Violence. In addition, she has a JD and held positions in the Business and Legal Affairs Departments at Disney, Starz and Turner Entertainment. Maureen was a member of the 2021/2022 LA County Civil Grand Jury where she served as chairperson of two investigative committees. She currently serves on the West Los Angeles Police Advisory Board.

Maureen served for years on the BABCNC both as the Religious Institutions and the Franklin Canyon representative. She currently serves on the By-Laws, Rules & Election Committee, and the Outreach, the Traffic, and the Public Safety/Emergency Preparedness Committees. She also writes and edits for the BABCNC newsletter.
