Alonzo Wickers

Alonzo attends the Oakwood School, where he runs cross country and track. A lifelong resident of Laurel Canyon, Alonzo grew up fascinated by the local plants and wildlife. He first learned of the BABCNC at a neighborhood gathering of native plant enthusiasts; this intersection of local government and native plants informs his contributions to the BABCNC. In line with his desire to engage his constituents in the restoration of our local flora, Alonzo has started writing an ecologically-oriented column in the BABCNC’s monthly newsletter. Always eager to communicate with individual stakeholders, you can find Alonzo birding, tending to his native garden, or running the many hills of the BABCNC district.
